After the wonderful response to my first round of free school visits, I'm excited to do it all over again!
I'm offering 10 more FREE author visits to elementary schools throughout the Niagara Region during November and December 2026.
As a retired elementary teacher with 28 years of classroom experience and an award-winning children's author, I know how important it is to get kids excited about reading. And sometimes, all it takes is a good story, a little imagination, and a whole lot of laughter!

My interactive presentation features The Killer Bees, a hilarious adventure from my I Told You So! children's book series.
Students will enjoy a lively storytelling experience while discovering how everyday ideas can become entertaining stories.
And who knows? They might even be inspired to write a few adventures of their own!
What's Included?
Each participating school can receive:
- 1–3 interactive presentations, depending on the number of participating classes
- Approximately 45 minutes per session
- A fun, humorous story presentation designed for Grades 3 and 4
- A behind-the-scenes look at how stories are created
- Opportunities for students to ask questions about books, writing, and becoming an author
The best part? It's completely FREE!
There are no presentation fees, and schools are not required to purchase any books.
Who Can Participate?
This special offer is available to elementary schools throughout the Niagara Region, including Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Welland, Fort Erie, Thorold, Port Colborne, and surrounding communities.
Priority will be given to schools that have not previously hosted one of my author visits.
